My name is Julie McConnell and I run a quilting workshop, including a Gamill Long-Arm, from my home in Farnham, Surrey. Take a look around the website and view the gallery, options for classes, learn about me and the workshop, and ways to get in touch!

About Me

My journey into the quilt world is still in its infancy. Having a background in textiles I came into the quilt world in 1998. I draw my inspiration from the world around me whether it is from my travels, my background, culture, or friends. The process of creation is therapeutic. When engrossed in cloth and stitch I am at my most excited and focussed, especially when using the stimulating and fulfilling vibrant colours that I love. I am always striving to progress my knowledge and technique in the world of quilting. I enjoy taking a variety of courses that help me achieve this. I am passionate about passing this knowledge onto other quilters through my classes.
